'Salem's Lot (1975)

• Ben mentions the desire to continue driving past 'salem's Lot, into Chamberlain, the yet-to-be-destroyed setting of Carrie.

Night Shift (1978)

• In Jerusalem's Lot, we learn that the Lot has always had issues with the occult. The nosferatu Charles encounters in Chapelwaite's basement is the first chronological reference to vampires.
• In One For the Road, we learn the aftermath of the fire Ben and Mark set. Much of the town burns, not to be rebuilt. However, many vampires survived.

The Stand (1978)

• The Stand deals principally with the aftermath of the curiously-named virus, Captain Tripps, first introduced in Night Shift's Night Surf story.
